Hermits Peak, Santa Fe NF, USFS. NIMO (Team 2) and IMT 2 (SW Team 5). Transfer of command from IMT 1 (SW Team 1) to IMT 2 (SW Team 3) will occur today. Twelve miles northwest of Las Vegas, NM. Hardwood litter, timber and light slash. Minimal fire behavior with creeping and smoldering. Numerous residences threatened. Area, road and trail closures in effect. Precipitation occurred over the fire area yesterday.
Black, Gila NF, USFS. IMT 2 (SW Team 4). Twenty-four miles north of Mimbres, NM. Grass and timber. Minimal fire behavior with backing, creeping and smoldering. Structures threatened. Area, road and trail closures in effect. Precipitation occurred over the fire area yesterday.
Raspberry, Coronado NF, USFS. Eleven miles northeast of Portal, AZ. Timber, brush and short grass. Minimal fire behavior with smoldering. Structures and communication infrastructure threatened.
