MMS Generation procedure
For Parent/Student

How to set up and access your LMS - MMS Generations Parent/Student Portal Account:
Using a laptop/tablet/computer/cell phone, in the search bar, type in Laconia Middle School or click HERE!
Scroll down on right hand column and under For Parent: click on MMS Generations Parent Portal

Click on Create Account

Fill in your first and last name, followed by creating and typing in your parent log in name

Insert your child’s or student’s identification number that is found on your child’s previous progress/report cards. If you do not know it, please see one of the school counselors or call the guidance dept.
Next, check your EMAIL that you gave to LMS to retrieve your temporary pass word that was generated for you, hit the “Back” button on your screen or computer, and insert your user name that you created originally and now insert your temporary pass word. (If you do not have an email, you will need to create a free one (hot mail, yahoo, google, etc..) in order to access your child’s grades).
Then it will prompt you to change old or temporary password.
Insert your temporary password in the first box, in the second box, type in your new password of your choosing. Confirm your new password.
In order for your child to access his/her progress/grades on MMS Generations, he/she will go to LMS home page, scroll on the right column to “For Student” and click on MMS Generations for Students. Next they will type in their student Id # (five digit as marked on their schedule or to pay lunch) and their own pass word.
Click on your child’s name on the “photo icon” (which will have your child’s picture after photo day) which at that point, you will see all the classes, grades, progress, and missing assignments.

To add another student, if applicable, click on “My Account” and then select “Add another student to this log in”. Add your second child’s five digit ID number and repeat this process if you have more to add

Now you can see all your child/children’s progress by clicking on the child you want to view.

Once you have clicked on your child’s name, below is what you will be able to view.

Parents/(students), if you would like to email your child’s teacher(s), click on the teacher’s name, select “Allow” for send it to the email menu. Then compose your email in the subject and when you are done, click “Send”. This new program will allow teachers to reply to parents’ emails. Please note that the information may change at any time. Typically, the progress is updated once a week by teachers.
