AT&T Smart Limits is a suite of parental control tools designed to address parents' safety concerns. With features ranging from content controls to channel blockers, these products help you establish sensible boundaries around the technology children use on a daily basis. Availability, user guides and fees vary by location and service.

Surf Smart

AT&T Yahoo!? Parental Controls include the ability to: ? Customize profiles for each family member, determining appropriate limits for each person's

online usage. ? Block access to specific services such as Mail, Messenger, chat groups, Yahoo! Music, and

message boards. ? Permission slips allow children to request access to unauthorized Web sites and parents get

to be the judge. ? Tamper controls alert parents if children attempt to change the settings. ? Control access seven different ways: Web filter, e-mail, messenger, AT&T Yahoo! services,

online timer, permission slips, report card. ? Master account can activate parental controls on up to 10 sub-accounts. ? Manage account settings from any Web-connected computer. ? Weekly report cards detail your child's online activities including Mail and Internet-surfing.

MEdiaTM Net Parental Controls from Cingular Wireless include: ? Content filters restrict access to sites with mature content not appropriate for children like

chat and dating sites. ? Purchase Blocker prevents children from buying premium content that is direct-billed to the

account-holder's bill (including premium subscriptions, ringtones, downloads, games, and graphics). ? Change settings on a child's phone with a PIN code or by contacting Customer Care.

AT&T U-verseSM TV Parental Controls include the ability to: ? Hide channels from view. ? Lock specific channels. ? Lock programs based on movie or TV ratings. ? Lock on-demand videos by requiring a PIN to purchase programs. ? Set up a PIN for parental locking. ? Parental lock settings are easy to de-activate/restore.

AT&T HomezoneSM Parental Controls include the ability to: ? Set password access based on industry standard ratings. ? Lock individual channels. ? Remove references to adult content.

AT&T | DISH Network Parental Controls include the ability to: ? Filter movies based on MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) ratings. ? Place additional programming protection based on expanded ratings such as violence,

to announce identification, complete the call, or leave a voice message. ? Anonymous Call Rejection will automatically stop all incoming calls from callers who have

their numbers blocked. Callers with blocked numbers will hear a message stating that the party they are calling does not accept anonymous calls. ? 900/976 Blocking prevents calls to 900/976 numbers from being dialed.

AT&T Midwest Region Home-Phone Parental Controls include: ? Privacy Manager enhances Caller ID by intercepting unidentified calls, and provides options

to announce identification, complete the call, or leave a voice message. ? Call Screening is a service that prevents up to ten presleected numbers from ringing through

to the phone. ? 900/976 Blocking prevents calls to 900/976 numbers from being dialed.

AT&T Southeast Region Home-Phone Parental Controls include: ? Anonymous Call Rejection automatically rejects calls from parties who have activated a

privacy feature preventing the delivery of their calling number and/or name to you. ? Privacy Director? intercepts unavailable numbers, unknown callers, and private callers and

requires callers to identify themselves before the phone rings. Privacy Director rings the phone with the recorded name of the caller and a customer can direct how the call is handled, using one of three options: 1. Accept the call. 2. Send a "do not call" recorded message to unwanted callers. 3. Ignore the call, and play a recorded message. ? Call Tracing allows customers to automatically trace the last call received. ? Call Block allows customers to block up to six telephone numbers.

Block outgoing calls to International phone numbers (does not block calls to U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam, Saipan, and the U.S. Virgin Islands). ? Block 900 and 976 outgoing calls. ? Do Not Disturb allows you to receive calls only when you want. Set quiet hours to forward calls to Voice Mail, while letting urgent calls ring in. ? Screen incoming calls with Call Filtering. You can send unwanted calls to Voice Mail or block them entirely.
