One of the best parts of New Year's Charades is that the game can be as long or as short as everyone wishes. The game ends when the charade words are gone or when you so choose. To get your game of New Year's charades underway this year, you will want to put together a list of the best charade words. Using individual pieces of paper, write down each word, placing them all in bowls.

Mix up the words the best you can and allow the youngest person to take the first turn. The turn starts when the player chooses a word from the bowl and the timer is set. The player acts out the word without saying anything. The other players guess what the word is. The first person with the correct guess before the timer goes off is the winner. The winner takes the next turn with a different topic.
