center-81343500Student Guidelines:Fees, Fines, Refunds, and TextbooksREFUNDS: At this time, all refunds for field trips that were cancelled due to Covid-19 are being processed by the finance department. These refunds have been initiated by the teacher or advisor that is over the trip. If you feel like you are needed a refund, please reach out to that teacher to ensure that your refund is being processed. Athletic fees for seniors that were purchased for spring sports only will be refunded as well. If a senior athlete participated in a fall or winter sport, it will not be refunded. If you feel you are in need of a refund for anything other than a cancelled field trip or athletic fee, please reach out to Mrs. McAteer for further assistance.Any concerns regarding refunds or outstanding balances for the cafeteria must be discussed with the Food Service Department. (803)981-1016.Please note that the processing time may be extended due to the volume and limited personnel in the finance department.OUTSTANDING FEES/FINES: If your student has any current or outstanding fines or fees, they must be paid by the designated deadline listed below. All payments can be made by check or by online payment. Checks need to include the student name in the memo section, and a valid phone number. Invoices will be sent out regarding what fees are owed. If you student has a SOY (Start of year) balance, this is a fee that was owed from prior year and has now rolled over and accumulated into one fee. If you have questions about a SOY balance, please email Mrs. McAteer. All payments must be CHECK or ONLINE. No cash will be accepted. Mail checks to South Pointe High School, Attn: Book Keeper, 801 Neely Road, Rock Hill SC 29730. Please include the student name and information about which fees are being paid. A receipt will be mailed to you. ONLINE Payments can be made at . Please see below on steps to make an online payment. Current 9th- 11th grade fee/fine deadline: JUNE 1, 2020Senior fee/fine deadline: MAY 22, 2020**Any seniors who have outstanding fees will not be allowed to participate in graduation activities. TEXTBOOKS: If your student owes any textbooks from this school year, or previous school years, you will be receiving notification in the mail. This notification will include the name of the book and the cost of the book if not turned in by 6/1/2020. If your student still owes a book from previous years, they are still responsible for the cost of the textbook to be paid to the school regardless if the book is now turned in. That textbook has had to be repurchased to replace the book not turned in for another student to use. Please include a valid email address. This is where your receipt will be emailed. Student ID is not needed. Please use your students name as it is listed in Powerschool. Scroll down and click on the different fee items. They are broken into different categories to better assist you in your search. Please enter the amounts you are needing to pay or click on the fee item. Scroll to the bottom of the page once completed. At the bottom of the screen, click that you agree to the terms and conditions and you will see your subtotal, including the convenience fee. Click Proceed to Payment page. You will be directed to another screen where you will input your credit card information. Once you submit your payment, you will receive a copy of your receipt listing all of the items you paid for during this transaction. You will also receive an emailed copy. Please keep this for your records. Payment will be sent to the school. ................
