You may use my electric sharpener to sharpen your pencil prior to the start of class. If you need to sharpen your pencil during class, you should use your individual pencil sharpener to sharpen your pencil at your own desk.

▪ There will be a class set of textbooks to be used in class. There is NO set of textbooks for the students to take home. You will have access to the online textbook through your student portal in order to complete any homework or unfinished classwork assignment.

• ALL WORK MUST BE COMPLETED IN PENCIL! ANY WORK COMPLETED IN PEN WILL NOT BE GRADED.

• All steps in solving problems must be shown. No work = no credit. (assignment will be returned ungraded & a Zero will be placed in the Grade book)

• If you are present, but do not turn in an assignment collected, you will receive a “Z” which is the equivalence of an “F”. (Extreme circumstances are excluded provided the teacher is made aware of such in a timely manner and approves)

• Excused absences - students are allowed to make up assignments missed & turn in the following class sessions after your return. A copy of the excused absence note (admit) must be shown.

• Unexcused absences will receive a zero (Z). No make-ups are allowed.

• CSI or Outdoor suspension - make up work is due the day the student returns to class.

• Student is responsible to access assignments and/or notes missed
