1. At the password / login screen, press and keep holding the Shift key on the keyboard.

2. Click on the Power icon, then click on the option Restart while still holding the Shift key.

3. When a menu appears, then you can release the Shift key.

4. When prompted, click on the Troubleshoot option.

5. Then select the option Reset PC, and continue.

When prompted, select the option "Just remove files" (and/or option "Remove everything"), and continue.

Solution #3: - If that does not work, please try:

1. At the password / login screen, click on the Ease of Access icon located a the bottom right of the computer's screen.

2. Then click on the option On-Screen Keyboard.

3. Then click on the Shift key on the left of the On-Screen Keyboard on the computer's screen.

4. Click on the Power icon at the bottom right of the computer's screen, then click on the option Restart.

5. When prompted, click on the Troubleshoot option.

6. Then select the option Reset PC, and continue.

When prompted, select the option "Just remove files" (and/or "Remove everything"), and continue.

Solution #4: - If that still does not work, please try:

1. Shut down the computer.

2. Turn on the computer, then right away, press the Alt and F10 keys on the keyboard at the same time when the Acer / Aspire logo appears on the screen.

; (or right after turning on the computer, keep pressing and releasing at the same time the two keys Alt and F10 on the keyboard quickly and repeated until a menu appears.)

3. You should get the Restore menu / option, then do the factory restore defaults there.
