Voting Aye: 5; Nay: 0. The motion was adopted.WILDLAND RESOLUTION:Curt Rawstern met with the board to discuss the duties of the coordinator for the Wildland Resolution appointment. He stated he would like to know when he is being appointed for a position and would like a description of the position. HE will check with the state and find out exactly what the position consists of and report back the board. PARTIAL PAYMENTS:Vetal Frazier met with the board requesting to make partial payments on his taxes. The board informed him that there are county liens that need to be paid off first and they would give him until November to pay them off before starting any proceedings for tax deed. IF he pays the county liens off then they will consider partial payments on his taxes.JAIL OPERATIONS STUDY:Houck moved and Miller seconded to allow Chairperson Siemon to sign a contract with Brad Hompe for phase one if the jail operations study at a cost of $3500. Roll call vote requested as follows: Houck – Aye; Schilling – Nay; Siemon – Aye; Miller – Aye; Holgard – Aye. The motion was adopted. BUDGET MEETING:The board went through the budget requests for 2018 and made adjustments as needed. The main discussion was on salaries. Holgard moved and Schilling seconded to approve a pay increase of 1.5% for all county employees. Voting Aye: 5; Nay: 0. The motion was adopted.ADJOURNMENT:Holgard moved and Miller seconded that the Board of County Commissioners adjourn until the hour of 9:00 am August 15, 2017.
