It's Time To Enroll in Your 2022 Benefits!

Enroll November 1 ? 19, 2021

MyBenefits.USNH.edu

IMPORTANT: ACCESS YOUR BENEFITS MATERIALS ONLINE THIS YEAR!

We're limiting which benefits materials are mailed to homes this year. Not only will this help our environment and reduce costs, but we also hope having everything in one place makes the enrollment process easier for you!

? Review your benefits information and make your elections all in one place by visiting MyBenefits.USNH.edu.

? Access your Open Enrollment Guide, Medical Plan Comparison and Cost Summary, and other benefits materials electronically on the site.

Dear USNH Community,

Every year, the University System evaluates rising medical cost trends, in conjunction with key financial targets, and makes changes to our benefits program in response. We are pleased to announce that, this year, there will be very minimal changes to your USNH benefits program for 2022.

We were able to achieve this through the long-term financial improvements from prior years' changes, as well as improved medical costs experienced by our employees and their families. As always, our goal will be to maintain a strong benefits package that ensures we recruit and retain the top-notch faculty and staff members that make USNH the world-class institution it is today.

What You Need to Know

? Biweekly payroll deductions for medical/prescription drug, dental, and vision plans will remain the same.* So, if you choose the same plans and cover the same dependents, there will be no changes to your payroll deductions.

? We are maintaining your flexibility to choose from one of three medical plan options in 2022, and there will be no changes to deductibles, out-of-pocket copays, or rates in any of the plans.

? Dental and vision plan designs will also stay the same in 2022. ? Our administrator for employer-paid Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D),

and Disability Insurance will switch to Sun Life Financial. However, there will be no changes to plan designs or costs and voluntary benefits ? such as Accident and Legal ? will remain with MetLife.

For a full review of the benefits available to you and your family members in 2022, please visit MyBenefits.USNH.edu to access your Open Enrollment Guide and Medical Plan Comparison and Cost Summary. This year, you will not receive these items in the mail.

What You Need to Do

During the Benefits Open Enrollment period (November 1 ? November 19), be sure to: ? Consider the medical plans available to you, and determine which option best

meets your needs in 2022. ? Select medical coverage for yourself and any dependent family members for

2022. This is an active Open Enrollment, which means you must choose a plan or confirm your current plan. ? Consider contributing to a Healthcare and/or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to take advantage of tax savings on your out-of-pocket expenses. ? Confirm or change your benefit elections, dependents, and beneficiaries that you covered in 2021.

*Contributions may differ based on Collective Bargaining Agreements.
