Christopher S. Thomas, MD

Dr. Christopher Thomas joined Virginia Cardiovascular Specialists as an invasive cardiologist in August 2016 and sees patients at their St. Mary's, Forest and West Creek locations. He practices general and preventative cardiology and has specialty training and certification in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and cardiac catheterizations. He has particular interests in sports cardiology and cardiooncology.

Dr. Thomas completed his undergraduate education at the University of Virginia and additionally received a Master's Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). He received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at VCU. He remained at VCU for a fellowship in Cardiology. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nuclear Medicine.
