MIDDLE SCHOOL

Updated Power Rankings for 3rd Round of Prelims in the National Geographic GeoBee competition.  The top ten will advance to school-wide competition:

Stay tuned for next week's 4th round of prelims - power rankings could change...School-Wide Competition will be mid-January.

Attention 7th grade boys planning on playing basketball this season: there is a sign-up sheet in the LC. Remember, you must have a physical and orange tryout card on file before practice begins January 2nd. We start the day we come back from Christmas break.

The 6th graders have been working hard for the past two weeks in social studies designing and creating their own businesses. They would like to invite everyone to check out their creations next week. They will be selling their Kids Creations next week in the multipurpose room on Thursday and Friday during 3rd and 7th hour. Come check it out.

HIGH SCHOOL

Tickets for the Christmas Winter Formal will be on sale during both lunches through Friday, Dec. 13.  Tickets are $10 at lunch and $15 at the door. Dress for the dance is semi-formal: dresses, skirts, nice pants, and collared shirts are acceptable.  If you are bringing a date from another school to the Christmas Dance, don't forget to complete a Dance Visitor Form located in The Rack. Deadline is Wednesday, Dec. 11th.  

Attention out of doors club members....we are playing 9 in sky this Thursday after school...all are welcomed.

Calling ALL ROCKETS! Looking to get active? Planet Fitness membership cost is $22.99/month. The football program is extending an invitation to ALL RHS students (men/women, athlete and non-athlete) a great opportunity to get active. The weight room, which is located in the gym above the locker rooms, will be open after school Monday thru Thursday from 3:00-4:30 PM. No membership/cost, experience or application needed. The Reese Out of Doors Club is hosting a Corn Hole and 9 square tournament this Thursday, December 12 in the Multipurpose Room starting after school and going to around 4. Please come and bring a friend. 

The OFFICIAL Rocket Rowdy student section shirt has been released and T-shirt order forms have been passed out in every English class. The shirts are student designed and only cost $10, they will also be incorporated into game themes later in the season.  If you have not gotten one see Mrs. Cornelius or The Rack. The order forms are due the day before break to Mrs. Cornelius. 

The Frankenmuth Credit Union is running a special fundraiser right now for the Pep Club.  For every transaction made through the branch, the Credit Union has generously offered to donate $5 to the Pep Club.  So remember that all you need is a Frankenmuth Credit Union card to use the branch and they are in the cafeteria every Thursday at lunch. 

Another reminder that the Reese Micro Band will be practicing Thursday and Friday of this week for Monday’s boys home season opener, which will be a Winter WHITE-OUT.

The Segment 2 forms are in The Rack for the January Segment 2 class.  Class dates will be January 13, 20, and 22 which is a change from what's on the form.  Forms are due back by Friday, January 10.  Any questions contact Mr. Elliott.

Order forms for pictures at the Christmas Dance are available in The Rack.  Photos are $10 and include 1 5x7 and 4 wallets. 

MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL

Attention all students:  Watch our Reese Rocket Boys Basketball team at their home opener on Monday, December 16th.  Get in for free by bringing at least 2 canned food items.  This is a great way to build up our local food pantry!
