A temporary residence for individuals & families who have lost safe, stable housing

Strengthening individuals, families, and communities since 1953

The Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter is a temporary residence for individuals and families who have lost safe and stable housing. It is the only shelter of its kind in Bucks County.

The shelter operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It serves as a temporary home to approximately 75 to 80 people at any given time. Typically, about half of the residents are children. Contributions from generous donors and the incredible effort put forth by hundreds of hard-working volunteers each year are the driving force behind the shelter.

On-Site Services ? Case management ? Job search and preparation resources ? Budgeting and financial planning ? Health evaluations and referrals to medical

services, dental services and other resources ? Outpatient counseling ? Tutoring for school-age children

Accessing the Shelter The Bucks County Housing Link is a telephone resource for those experiencing a housing crisis. In addition to providing Code Blue information and referrals to housing resources, the Housing Link also serves as the access point for the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter waiting list (when appropriate).
