UK Interdisciplinary Breast Cancer Symposium 2020

All patients had wide local excision to remove the cancer except one had mastectomy. Mastectomy was performed as this patient had previous breast cancer treated with WLE and radiotherapy. Only 3.3% of patients had no residual neoplasia after surgery (n=10). In these the average age was 63 years (49 -73) and size of tumour was 6.1mm (4mm-10mm). ................
