This course is an introductory medical interpreter

training course. Bridging The Gap is a nationallyrecognized program that provides actively

working interpreters and those seeking to

become interpreters, with the fundamental

theoretical and practical knowledge required for

success in the profession and in helping the

community. This course is taught in English, with

language coaching practice during each day of

the course. A light breakfast will be provided.

Participants will receive Bridging The Gap

training, in addition to receiving language-specific

training

Participants will receive language coaching in

order to practice interpreter role-playing based

upon real-life scenarios during each training day

Upon successful completion of the course,

participants will receive the Bridging The Gap

Certificate of Successful Completion

medical interpreting
