Where work has started prior to obtaining a permit, the fees specified herein shall be doubled. Payment of doubled fees shall not relieve anyone from fully complying with the requirements of the Standard Codes nor from any other penalties.

Building Plan Checking Fee

When construction valuation exceeds $1,000.00, plans shall be submitted to the City. Prior to a plan review fee must be paid which shall be equal to one-half of the fee required for a Building Permit. Residential plan review shall be equal to half the permit fee with a maximum of $150. This requirement may be waived by the City for projects other than new construction.
