4th Grade Music April 27 – May 1This week we are reviewing the treble clef (or treble staff). You should have a double-sided worksheet, please start with the side labeled THE TREBLE STAFF AND LEDGER LINES. Follow the directions carefully to accurately complete the worksheet. Remember that the letter names of pitches on the staff go in alphabetical order when going up the staff; when looking at pitches under the staff you may have to think backwards in your music alphabet (A – G).Remember your clues to pitches on the treble clef:F-A-C-E in the space! Start on the bottom space of the staff.Every Good Boy Does Fine! E-G-B-D-F, start on the bottom line of the staff.Next, turn your page over to SPELLING BEE. Put the letter name of each pitch under the whole note, the “words” at the top of the page are NOT spelled correctly! AFTER you have labeled the pitches at the top, THEN complete the bottom of the page in SHOW WHAT YOU KNOW by “unscrambling” the words. Write the word (spelled correctly!) in the blanks under the staff, then place a whole note in the correct position on the staff above the letters.Read the directions carefully to understand what to do. Please ask if you have a question about how to do this assignment!Return your completed pages to me by taking a picture and sending it to aedwards@rcw.k12.mn.us, or return the paper through the RCW delivery system on TUESDAY, May 5th or Monday, May 11th. As always, let me know if you have any questions or problems accessing materials.Feel the ROAR!! ................
