Directions:

1. Open a word document

2. Place your heading on the paper (2 points)

• include your name, block # and date

3. Use the same font style and size for all characteristics – Times New Roman, 12 font

4. Type the title – Characteristics of Living Things (10 points)

5. Create an example of each of the eight (8) Characteristics of Living Things by

• Naming the characteristic (1 points)

• Finding a picture demonstrating the characteristic from a magazine. The picture must be an organism (living things). (5 points)

• Including a short explanation of how the picture demonstrates this characteristic. Write the explanation in a complete sentence with correct grammar and spelling. (5 points)
