5th Grade Celebration Photo Request

Attention Parents of 5th Grade Students! Pictures of your child(ren) for the bulletin board/5th grade dance are due TODAY. Please send in two pictures of your child. One picture should be a baby picture and the second should be a recent picture. Pictures should be no bigger than 2x3, labelled with child's first and last name on back and do not have to be the original - a good, color copy will do. These pictures will be posted on the bulletin board, so they may not be returned in the same condition they have been sent in. Please put both pictures together in an envelope with the child's first and last name on the outside of the envelope and have your child submit the envelope to their homeroom teacher.

RUN! BALLANTYNE EVENT!

You should have received a flyer in the Thursday folders for the Run! Ballantyne event taking place on May 14th at the new Sara’s YMCA. This is a family event which helps the YMCA fund much-needed programs in the community. There are 8K, 5K and 1 mile fun-run events to choose from. We are hoping to get a team together to run the 5K, but you can register for any event. If we have 20 participants (in any race), we will receive special race tees with our school’s name on the sleeve, so let’s aim high!! You can register online at .

Please remember to use the coupon code MCKEE16 for $5 off registration through April 30th. If you have any questions, please contact Robyn Delmar at robyndelmar@. Lace up your running shoes and we hope to see you there.

Friendly Car Line Reminder

Please remember to pull all the way forward for both pick-up and drop-off. For safety reasons, children should exit the vehicle on the right side. As we near the end of the school year and more families seem to be utilizing carpool, please keep these tips in mind to make the process quick and easy for everyone.
