If it is found that restroom privileges are being abused, this may result in disciplinary action.Grade Breakdown and PolicyGrades are broken down into five categories and are weighted as follows:- Homework = 10% - Participation = 10% - Quizzes = 25% - Classwork = 20%- Tests = 35% Total: 100%Grading ScaleA= 90% – 100%B= 80% – 89%C= 70% – 79%D= 60% - 69%F= Below 60%PlagiarismPlagiarism includes cheating on tests, using quotes without giving the original speaker or writer proper citation, referencing analysis without crediting the source, copying another student's work, and any other instance of borrowing someone else's work and submitting it as your own. Plagiarism will result in immediate disciplinary action.Testing: Tests are generally announced at least a week in advance. Unannounced reading check quizzes, however, may be given. Any student who missed a test or a quiz is expected to make up the test or quiz upon their return to school and may be given an alternate version.Absences and Makeup Work: Students who miss school, regardless of the reason, are responsible for checking the Weekly Assignments to see what they missed in class and must also check with me upon returning for any handouts and/or assignments that may have been distributed during their absence.
