Elected to Sigma Pi Sigma, physics honor society. Attended Pennsylvania State University, 19651966 (M. S. in physics). While at Pennsylvania, he worked in Dr. David Rank's spectroscopy laboratory with continuous gas lasers and giant pulse lasers. Following four years of Air Force ROTC training, he was commissioned in June, 1965. ................
