EP301: Complex Concepts for EP Fellows and Early Career EPs

Saturday, August 29, 2020 | 10:00 a.m. ? 2:30 p.m. EST Sunday, August 30, 2020 | 10:00 a.m. ? 2:30 p.m. EST

EVENT OVERVIEW

This program, sponsored by Abbott, is specifically designed to prepare fellows for advanced ablation techniques in clinical practice. This intensive two-and a half day course provides comprehensive education related to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures performed in the EP lab. During the program, we will focus on the safe and effective practice of diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias with the latest technology. Guided by key opinion leaders and faculty, participants will ex plore descriptions, functionality and performance characteristics of EP technology through didactic instruction and thought-provoking interactions with faculty.

AUDIENCE

EP fellows in an ACGME-approved CCEP fellowship program and EP physicians who hav e completed an approved fellowship within the last three y ears

COURSE DIRECTORS

Gregory Michaud, M.D. Vanderbilt Heart and Vascular Institute Nashville, TN

OBJECTIVES

At the completion of this course, participants should be able to better:

? Name key considerations of cardiac mapping as it relates to the EnSite PrecisionTM Cardiac Mapping Sy stem ? Describe the safe and effective use of Abbott EP mapping catheters for EP diagnostic procedures ? Distinguish the benefits and utility of the TactiCathTM ablation catheter, Sensor EnabledTM irrigated contact-

force ablation catheter ? Comprehend entrainment techniques of atrial and ventricular tachycardias as they relate to: EP-4TM Cardiac

Stimulator, WorkMate ClarisTM Sy stem
