The Abbott Academic Development department is committed to enhancing the training experience for fellows in the cardiovascular disease disciplines. Our premier educational programs allow the learned concepts to be applied for immediate impact on patient care, as well as incorporated into long-term healthcare strategies. We have engaged global thought leaders to create our "By Physicians, For Physicians" curriculum with a focus on Abbott technologies. The content progresses with you from PGY4 to the final year of your specialty fellowship. We look forward to having you join us on this educational mission.

WEB-BASED OFFERINGS

Abbott's online curriculum consists of two series: our Ten-Question Tuesday (TQT) and Case Study Wednesday (CSW). Ten-Question Tuesday is held on the first Tuesday of the month. This program consists of a singular faculty member going through ten questions on a particular disease state. Case Study Wednesday is held on the third Wednesday of the month. This program consists of a faculty panel presenting cases on how they applied technology to treat the disease state discussed earlier in the month. The two series are designed to go hand in hand for a thorough discussion of particular patients in need of specific care. Our online platform provides an interactive forum for fellows and faculty.
