Quarterly training sessions will focus on social and independent living skills training in a recreational-type atmosphere to encourage communication and positive social interactions with peers and adults. Also, offers a weeklong (30 hour per participant) summer day camp to further establish the program components and a SibShop group and Learn and Grow playgroup for ages 2-8 which provides an opportunity for hands on social interaction with peers.

Services will be provided to individuals who are at risk of losing housing or services due to behavioral challenges. This service provides individuals enrolled in Supported Employment program transportation from their home to their work site.

The Volunteer Relationship Manager is responsible for matching volunteers and unpaid interns ages 21-56 to well suited, goal-oriented opportunities in the community. They meet with program staff, individuals and families to develop a volunteer profile and volunteer development plan. They work in partnership with the team to find a good match for eligible individuals and provide on-going support to ensure long-term success.

The Autism Training and Support specialist will utilize the TEACCH model to help integrate the person in the local community and help improve social relationships and social outcomes. A parent support group will serve families and individuals with Autism in the Seneca County Area. The program will offer a four-part service to support and enhance the effectiveness of the support group. The four components are: 1. provide respite during the support group; 2. offer planned respite in the individual's home or in the community to provide integrative opportunities to individual with autism and relief for families participating in the support group; 3. In-home parent support/coaching to practice skills learned in the support group; and 4. In-home emergency response to provide relief by an extra person during a crisis situation.

Coordinate /facilitate a sports league for children ages 10-18. There will be an opportunity for children and their parents to attend and participate in practices and games. During the practices the agency will coordinate opportunities for parents to receive information, support, and special services. Assistance with transportation will be provided if needed.
