Notes

Adjective Collage

Originally developed by Kathryn Jarvis of West Springfield High School in Fairfax County, VA. Modified by A. Lukes.

Usually easy to grade: -1/-2 or little errors; -5 for major errors (i.e., not providing correct adjective form)

Sometimes the optional adjectives cause more problems than the required 4.

Makes nice display.

Suggestions for Adaptation by Other Target Languages

Make appropriate changes in Rubric and project instructions to eliminate declension specific adjectives.

Increase number of comparative or superlative forms.

Include an irregular adjective.

Suggestions for Interdisciplinary Activity

Can be made interdisciplinary if other languages do this project at the same time and a huge display is made somewhere in the school
