Job DescriptionJOB TITLE:Administrative AssistantDEPARTMENT:Student Life REPORTS TO:Dean of Students UNIVERSITY MISSION: Rochester University prepares students for professional and personal success as they serve in God's world.?POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Dean of Students the Administrative Assistant will work with The Center for Student Life (CSL) staff to meet the needs of students and foster a positive experience for them. It is essential that this individual maintain a welcoming and helpful attitude at all times. RESPONSIBILITIES:Organize, implement, and manage the COVID-19 health screening process, as defined by the University, for students and visitors to campus. Manage employees and volunteers who are conducting health screens on campus. Manage the work schedule for employees and volunteers who are conducting health screens on campus. Assure that each health screen station on campus is adequately supplied with masks, testing materials, and cleaning supplies. Track student compliance with the health screening process. Support and assist faculty in the Accelerated Learning program with the student health screening anize, implement, and manage the COVID-19 travel restrictions policy, as defined by the University, for students and employees. Assist the CSL with campus communication and training related to health education, health screening and travel restrictions.Be a point of contact for students needing assistance from the Center of Student Life and handle confidential information in a respectful manner. Maintain knowledge of the rules, regulations, and operating procedures of the institution.Provide administrative support for Center for Student Life events, i.e. Student events, Crimson Days, and Warrior Week which may include occasional evening or weekend work.Other responsibilities as assigned by the CSL.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor Degree PreferredExperience working with college studentsExcellent computer and organizational skillsStrong administrative, interpersonal, and communication skillsAbility to make good decisions and have a good record of consistency in handling student needsUnderstand of the importance of confidentiality and impartiality in all workHave an active and growing Christian faith.Supportive of the mission, vision, and core values of the institution as stated in the Rochester University Value Alignment Statement. ................
