This document is designed to provide guidance on installing necessary application or browser plug-in in ATD virtual machine for analyzing flash files. Both standalone and browser based flash plug-in are supported. Please note:Browser plug-in is supported only for IE.If standalone flash player and flash plug-in both are present then browser based flash plug-in takes the precedence.?????????????? Make sure to have IE as default browser in case both standalone player and flash plug-in are installed otherwise flash files will fail to execute.Standalone Flash Player Installation:Please follow below steps to install standalone flash player.1.Navigate to Save File3.Choose a location. And click Save.4.Wait for file to complete download. 5.Navigate to the location where you downloaded the file. Right-click and select extract to. 6.Now select a location and click extract.7.Wait for your files to complete extraction8.Navigate to the folder you correct the files to. At this point it is suggested but not required that you move this file to a location where it will not be deleted. An example “My Documents”9.Now that you’ve moved the main archive folder. Open the fp_13.0.0.231_archive folder. Now you see two subfolders. 10.Open the folder named 13.0.0.231. Sign the application as shown in the screenshot and double-click to execute.11.The Adobe Flash Player installation screen will appear. Select the checkbox for the license agreement and click install.12.After a few moments the installation will be complete. Click done.13.The installation complete screen will be displayed. Select the “Never check for updates(not recommended). And click done.14.Navigate back to the folder that contains the installation media. Now open the folder named 13.0.0.231_debug.15.Double-click to launch the application named “flashplayer13.0.0.231_win_debug”16.Again select the check box for the license agreement and click install.17. Wait for the insulation to complete and click done.18.Navigate back to the installation media and this time click the application named “flashplayer13.0.0.231_win_sa_debug”19.When the file security warning comes up click run.20.The Adobe flash player application will launch. Close the application.21.Now navigate to control panel/programs/default programs. Now select Associate a file type or protocol with the program22.Now scroll down to the flash extensions area and observed that Adobe flash player is the current default for the various flash extensions.22.You’ve now completed the Adobe flash player installation. Do not delete the installation folder you used install the program with or the file associations will be broken and you will not build analyze flash files and your ATD virtual machine validation will fail.Browser Flash Plug-in Installation:ATD support on IE based flash plug-in. Please follow below steps to install flash plugin:Go to below link and select OS in step 1. FP 22 for Internet Explorer – ActiveX from dropdown of step 2.Click Download Now button.Click Run and wait for installation Popup to appear.Click Yes to allow installation of plugin.Select Never check for updates and click Next.Wait for installation to complete. Click Finish and Restart IE.Go to IE Tools >Manage add-ons. Select Shockwave Flash Object from right pane. Make sure it’s Enabled. ................
