Summer is moving quickly as usual. It may be my age, but the time just seems to fly by. It has been a very busy year with our new management team (MMG) and Executive Director Sarah Jeffcoat getting up to speed with our Chapter. Our FHEA Staff has been making great progress in coordinating and supporting our activities this year. We also have had terrific Board and Committee members working hard for you.

It was great to see quite a few of our FHEA members at the annual ASHE conference in Seattle in July.

The combined 34th Annual AHCA Seminar and FHEA's 56th Annual Meeting & Trade Show is scheduled for October 7 ? 10, 2018 at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando. The AHCA seminar is titled "Back to the Basics of Health Care Design and Construction," and the FHEA theme is "Beyond the Basics." This meeting is shaping up to be one of the best seminars and trade shows we have had. The main events are:

? FHEA Golf Tournament: Sunday, October 7

? AHCA Seminar: Sunday ? Tuesday, October 7 - 9

? FHEA Trade Show: Monday ? Tuesday, October

8 - 9, running concurrently with the AHCA Seminar (Our Trade Show is sold out w/ 298 vendors)

? FHEA Annual Meeting: Wednesday, October 10
