FLORIDA UPDATES & NEW SERVICE IN VERMONT

JET SET BUS (JSB) website for scheduled service now goes directly to the FLORIDA EXPRESS BUS website. Assumption was made that they are no longer a separate scheduled carrier, so JET SET BUS has been eliminated from the AIBRA website.
FLORIDA SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION and FLORIDA EXPRESS BUS have both added stops at the following Florida communities:
Bonita Springs ? Already served by TORNADO. Lakeland ? Already served by multiple carriers meeting the AIBRA criteria. Venice ? Previously unserved by a carrier meeting the AIBRA criteria.
FLORIDA EXPRESS BUS has discontinued their service into Georgia affecting the following community:
Atlanta ? Still served by multiple carriers meeting the AIBRA criteria.
They have also added a Miami ? Key Largo ? Marathon ? Key West service which was already served by GREYHOUND as well.
GREYHOUND LINES (GLI) has discontinued their Jacksonville ? Starke ? Waldo ? Gainesville schedule.
Gainesville and Jacksonville ? both still served by multiple carriers meeting the AIBRA criteria. Waldo ? still served by AMTRAK. Starke ? no longer served by a carrier meeting the AIBRA criteria.
They have discontinued the following stops on existing schedules they have:
Bradenton ? still served by multiple carriers meeting the AIBRA criteria. Clearwater ? no longer served by a carrier meeting the AIBRA criteria, but within the Tampa MSA. Winter Haven ? still served by AMTRAK.
They have added the following stop on an existing schedule they have:
Sarasota ? Already served by multiple carriers meeting the AIBRA criteria.
RED COACH (RCU) has discontinued service to Georgia entirely as well as their Orlando ? Kissimmee, Orlando ? Daytona Beach, and Orlando ? Port Canaveral shuttles. They have concentrated their scheduled service in Florida on two routes as follows:
Tallahassee ? Gainesville ? Ocala ? Orlando ? Fort Pierce ? West Palm Beach ? Fort Lauderdale ? Miami (The above schedule also serves Orlando International Airport and Miami International Airport)
Tallahassee ? Gainesville ? Ocala ? Tampa ? Naples - Miami (The above schedule also serves Tampa International Airport and Miami International Airport)
The following Georgia communities are no longer served by RED COACH:
Atlanta ? Still served by multiple carriers meeting the AIBRA criteria. Tifton ? Still served by GREYHOUND LINES and OMNIBUS LA CUBANA.
The following Florida communities are no longer served by RED COACH:
Daytona Beach ? Still served by multiple carriers meeting the AIBRA criteria. Kissimmee - Still served by multiple carriers meeting the AIBRA criteria. Port Canaveral ? Still served by FLORIDA EXPRESS BUS and FLORIDA SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION.

OMNIBUS LA CUBANA (LCO) ? has discontinued the following stop on an existing route they have: Saint Augustine ? still served by GREYHOUND LINES And added the following stop on an exsting route they have: Jacksonville ? already served by multiple carriers meeting the AIBRA criteria
TF ORLANDO (TFO) ? ( formerly TRANS FLORIDIAN ), was previously listed within the AIBRA website as a scheduled airport shuttle. They are now listed as a Category 4 carrier because they operate schedules between large urbanized areas within Florida, with intermediate stops as well.
The Florida communities they serve are all already served by other carriers meeting the AIBRA criteria with the following exceptions:
Brandon ? Adjacent to Tampa Gibsonton ? Adjacent to Tampa Riverview ? Adjacent to Tampa DeBary ? Adjacent to Deltona
Marco Island Marion Oaks Ruskin
VERMONT TRANSLINES (VTL) ? has been added to the AIBRA website as a new Category 2 scheduled carrier. They have two schedules in the State of Vermont that extend into New Hampshire and New York. They are as follows:
Colchester ? Burlington ? Middlebury ? Brandon ? Rutland ? Wallingford ? Manchester ? Bennington ? Albany, NY
Hanover/Lebanon, NH ? White River Jct. ? Quechee ? Woodstock ? Bridgewater ? Killington ? Sherburne ? Mendon ? Rutland

Additional Noteworthy Update: MEGABUS (MB) ? has discontinued their Ann Arbor ? Detroit ? Toledo ? Cleveland ? Pittsburgh schedule.
The AIBRA website has been updated to reflect the above changes, which includes updates to theAtlanta; Albany, NY; Burlington, VT; Fort Lauderdale; Miami; and Tampa Airports .
