A motion was made to approve the February 2008 NMC meeting minutes. This motion was seconded and the February 2008 NMC meeting minutes were approved.

Arshad Hafeez presented the PRI/Nadcap status report. Audits scheduled through the end of 2008 are 101% of plan. Auditor capacity continues to exceed 30%. The health of the Nadcap program is excellent. eAuditNet 2.0 next generation release 1.0 is expected for July 2008 with the final release of 2.0 in September due to data migration. Nadcap will remain the core of PRI services as its Hallmark program. Four major PRI Industry Initiatives were detailed. They are:

3. Global Supplier Competencies

4. Internal Audit Services

3. NMC Chairpersons’ Report

Mark Rechtsteiner presented the NMC Chairperson’s report and discussed the key decisions from the July 2008 NMC Steering and Planning and Operations meetings. A sub-team was created to define a vision of what should be included and excluded from audit checklists. A sub-team was also created to determine the feasibility of developing baseline criteria for conventional processes on critical parts. It was also decided that the Escapes Team is to work with the NMC to determine a plan for future escapes activity. For more details please see the attached presentation.

Chet Daté advised that the major discussion points at this meeting were focused on Supplier Advisory Process analysis, audits open over 90 days as well as Supplier Voting Member attendance. A team was formed to gather user needs and revise NOP-006 for Supplier Advisories. It was also noted PRI is continuing its action plan for audits open over 90 days. Michel Pierantoni gave an update regarding the translation of documents. Significant progress has been made on Spanish and German versions. The translation log listing all information is now posted in eAuditNet under public documents. It was also noted that a proposal to modify NOP-002 in order to introduce simplifications and options. Kevin Ward advised that Delegation, Merit, and Failure will continue to be monitored and the Standardization Sub-Team will review and work all action items listed on the RAIL (Rolling Action Item List). The Standardization sub-team also accepted a recommendation for Escapes application to merit. For more details please see the attached presentation.

Kevin Ward advised that the Ethics and Appeals team reviewed the PRI incident report summary. There are currently no appeals actions. For more details please see the attached presentation.

Mark Cathey advised the final oversight audit report for the 2008 audit will be presented at the October meeting. Currently 6 desktop audits will be completed by the end of the week. The PRI Headquarters audit will be performed on Friday, July 25, 2008. For more details please see the attached presentations.

4. Task Group Reports

NDT – Phil Keown reported that the task group revised checklists to conform with NAS 410 Rev. 3. The task group also approved a new task group supplier representative, Robert Custer from AAA Plating.

ETG – Ed Nellans advised the task group will be submitting AC7119/3 HDI for task group ballot by August 22, 2008. AC7121 for cable and hardness assembly is being finalized.

AQS – Mark Covert reported that the task group is currently reviewing quality systems issues raised by task group liaisons.

MTL – Neil Clarke advised the task group discussed its current need for a staff engineer. The task group also issued AC7101/1 to allow use of AS9100.

COMP – David Watson advised that Mike Bemis of Goodrich will take over as the Composites task group chair effective on August 1, 2008.

HT – Doug Matson reported that the task group signed an MOU with the AQS task group.

FAST – John Sattler reported that this is his last meeting and Bob Reynolds of The Boeing Company will be the new Fasteners task group chair.

NMSE – Jeremy Phillips advised that the task group approved its staff engineer as an auditor.

SLT – Ali D’Ambrosia reported that the task group is converting its AS document to an AC document.

SEALS – Manny Koucouthakis advised the task group is developing checklist questions for mixing facilities.

CT – Jack Saunders reported that the task group signed an MOU with the AQS task group.

CP – Bob Koukol advised that the task group is simplifying Table 1 (Test Matrix) to focus on default periodic test requirements.

WLD – Ralph Kropp reported the task group decided that without further guidance from NMC that NOP-003 paragraph 4.1.1b (other issues) is limited to NCRs. The task group also have a plan for the creation of training material and future auditor training events.

5. Supplier Support Committee Report

David Michaud gave the SSC update. The 2009 Survey Team has completed a draft survey which is being reviewed to ensure question consistency and completion time. The SSC Leadership Team has developed a procedure for how the SSC accepts projects and charters. Flow down continues to be a major concern for suppliers and the task group flow down templates will now be posted to the PRI Website under the SSC page for suppliers to access. 6. New Business

Arshad Hafeez presented information regarding the October 6-9, 2008 meeting in Yokohama, Japan. The meeting will be held at a conference center and not at a hotel. The meeting location is as follows:

Japan

Please note that PRI has secured sleeping room blocks at four hotels. The hotels are:

• Hotel New Grand

• Rose Hotel Yokohama

• Yokohama Monterey Hotel

• Yokohama Grand Intercontinental Hotel

It was also noted that due to lack of response, no tours will be held at the Yokohama meeting.
