BASKETBALL

2013-14 AND 2014-15 RULES

Sportsmanship is a core value of the NCAA. The NCAA Committee on Sportsmanship and Ethical Conduct has identified respect

and integrity as two critical elements of sportsmanship and launched an awareness

and action campaign at the NCAA Convention in January 2009.

2014 & 2015 NCAA MEN'S BASKETBALL RULES

Sportsmanship

The primary goal of the rules is to maximize the safety and enjoyment of the student-athlete. Sportsmanship is a key part of that goal. Sportsmanship should be a core value in behavior of players and bench personnel, in crowd control by game management and in the officials' proper enforcement of the rules governing related actions.
