I. Patient Care

Students must be prepared to provide patient care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective.

Students will utilize clinically relevant research, from the basic sciences of medicine or from patient centered clinical research, to assess the accuracy and precision of diagnostic tests (including the clinical examination), the power of prognostic markers, and the efficacy and safety of therapeutic, rehabilitative, and preventive regimens as they pertain to obstetric and gynecologic care and decision-making
