SAA SUMMER INTERNSHIP

Various

U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms (SAA) Internships are 10-week, paid, non-partisan, business operations positions designed to challenge and reward a select number of college students to work at the SAA. Interns will assist various SAA staff with assignments ranging from Parking/Fleet Operations to Cybersecurity. In addition to regular work assignments, the SAA Internship Program organizes various seminars and networking events to increase exposure to SAA staff and fellow interns.

$1,126 (Semi-monthly)

2019 Summer Internship Program

U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms (SAA) Internships are 10-week, paid, non-partisan, business operations positions designed to challenge and

reward a select number of college students to work at the SAA. Interns will assist various SAA staff with assignments ranging from

Parking/Fleet Operations to Cybersecurity. In addition to regular work assignments, the SAA Internship Program

organizes various seminars and networking events to increase exposure to SAA staff and fellow interns.

Eligible students must meet the following requirements:

*Completed at least one year of college and be enrolled for the upcoming school year. *Commit to work 40 hours per week. *Commit to full 10 week internship program. *Pass a background/security investigation. *Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Internship Benefits:

$1,126/semi-monthly salary and public transit subsidy assistance.

Internships can start as early as Monday, May 13, and can last until Friday, August 30.
