|To prepare and develop policies, strategies and supporting information, offering recommendations and guidance to decision makers within the |

|Infrastructure Strategy and Planning Service, to help shape delivery. To actively engage with strategic partners and customers and contribute to the |

|delivery of the policy framework, plans, and bid activity associated with service objectives. |

|Support the development and implementation of the service plan and contribute to the preparation of technical strategies. |

|Assess and evaluate complex information / situations, recommending, developing and implementing solutions / interventions, assessing and mitigating |

|Undertake research and consultations to inform recommendations and decision making within the Service. Develop results and responses and submit reports |

|and recommendations on key issues. |

|Provide authoritative professional advice, guidance and support to a range of internal and external customers / stakeholders. Respond to and investigate |

|complex enquiries / escalated complaints |

|Deliver specialist projects or improvement programmes or contribute to the delivery of larger projects / programmes within the service area. |

|Proactively build and maintain good working relationships and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, to ensure service delivery and to share and |

|Co-ordinate the preparation and submission of bids for short and long term funding. |
