She contributes to several genealogy magazines, including Who Do You Think You Are. She is the author of “Everything Family Tree” (2006), and the “Everything Guide to Online Genealogy” (2011). Kimberly serves as Webmaster for the Western Pennsylvania Genealogical Society. She maintains ongoing professional genealogy training through genealogical conferences, online classes, seminars, and self-studies.

Her biographical highlights include researcher for the PBS series Oprah’s Roots: An African American Lives Special and African American Lives II; former president and two-term officer of the African American Genealogy Group in Philadelphia, PA., faculty at the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research in Birmingham, AL., workshop volunteer at the Family History Center in Cherry Hill, NJ. By profession, Ms. Jordon is a global trainer of computer applications in the technology department of an investment bank in New York City.
