?Since you have just taken the AP Exam, this will count as your final exam grade. AP HUMAN GEOGRAPHY FINAL EXAM PROJECTThis is not someone else's world; ultimately, this is your world. You spend a limited time on this planet and it's up to you to make the best of it, for you, your children - and your planet. The Internet has opened another door of perception, a terrific door - a new portal to the world. Like the explorers of days gone by, now you are able to travel to unknown places, find new territories and gain knowledge - and maybe wisdom.You will be required to present information about the country (of those that your group has been working with all year) that interests your group the most using Photo Story or any other movie maker software. Photo Story is available as a free download from , as long as you are running a Windows-based operating system and using Internet Explorer.You should use this web site as your jumping off point: Nations online-One World: . It has a wealth of information and links to many other places where you can find what you need. CIA World Fact book is another great site to use.Please submit your presentation to me on CD or jump drive that can easily be loaded onto my computer. You should create a photo story video that can be played back in Windows format. Quicktime is fine. Your photo slide show presentation must include the following:1. Facts and Figuresa. Type of government-include the current head of stateb. Economy (type of currency, GDP; GNP, major economic bases)c. Population (demographics-language, religion, gender, literacy rates, etc.)d. Environmental issues and responses2. Culture-BE CREATIVE! a. Artb. Music (embedded in show)c. Types of food (bring in and share recipe)-REQUIRED FOR AN A!d. Native dress (wear it, bring in a sample or just show photos)e. Famous/notable people (photos and names)3. Travel and TourismIf you were to plan a two week trip to this country from Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, provide all of the details of getting there, staying there, getting around, where to go, what to do, approximate costs and best time of year to travel there. Remember-we want to get to know the place and the people, not just sit on a beach! This trip must (at a minimum) include these items in order to be complete. a. Major landmarks (photos and captions)b. Map of country with major cities labeledIn order to earn an A, you must have everything listed. You will lose one letter grade for each category that is not complete.
