You may need to click the Menu button on the Apple TV remote a few times to “wake” it up.Step 2: Turn on your iPad and connect it to the CavsNet-Open WiFi network.*You must be connected to CavsNet-Open for the Zoom meeting to work properly while projecting to the Apple TV.*Step 3: On your iPad’s home screen, swipe down from the upper right corner, Select “Screen Mirror”. Select the Apple TV in your classroom. You should now see your iPad’s screen on the Apple TV display.Step 4: Launch the Zoom app on your iPad and start or create your meeting. You should now see your Zoom meeting both on your iPad and on the Apple TV display. Helpful Advice: *Participants of Zoom Meeting will need to be muted until they are selected to speak. You will hear an echo from your iPad/the classroom speakers when they speak.Recording a Zoom Meeting on Your iPad (can be done while AirPlaying if you want to record while broadcasting to the classroom screen)Step 1: While in your Zoom meeting on your iPad, tap the three dots in the upper-right corner, then select “Record to the Cloud”.*Only Meeting host will be able to record. You will need a Zoom Pro account for the option to appear.*Ending the meeting will stop the screen recording. *After ending the Zoom Meeting, you will receive an email when your recording is ready to view. This may take a moment depending on length of the meeting. Sharing a Document in Your Zoom Meeting on iPad:*You cannot share your iPad’s entire screen while you are AirPlaying/Screen Mirroring to the classroom Apple TV. You can share an individual file.Step 1: Tap Share > iCloud Drive > Browse > Locations > Box (or select the location where your file is stored). Your file will now be displayed on the classroom Apple TV, and to any students connecting to your Zoom meeting from home. It will also be recorded if you are recording. *Note: When you share a file in Zoom, it converts that file to a PDF. If you are planning to share a PowerPoint, Keynote, or other file with students via a Zoom meeting, it is best to convert that file to a PDF before sharing it. If you choose to share a PowerPoint/Keynote/etc, there is a lag.To stop sharing your document, select “Stop Share” in the upper-right corner of your iPad. ................
