YEAR 7 LISNASKEA RESIDENTIAL

Year 7 pupils will go on a residential trip to the Share Centre in Lisnaskea on Wed 8th May, returning on Friday 10th May. Miss Doyle and Mrs Rosemary Moore will accompany the class on this trip. A letter will be issued shortly to parents outlining details of clothing/footwear etc... required for the trip. Parents are asked to attend a short briefing about the trip on Friday 3rd May at 2.15pm. Due to EA regulations, all pupils and their parents must agree to and sign a Code of Conduct before being allowed to go on this trip.

Pupils will participate in outdoor pursuits such as mountain biking, banana boating, canoeing and combat corps and it usually proves to be the highlight of their final year at school.

TRANSFER MEETING – YEAR 6

There will be a general information meeting about the transfer procedure on Tuesday 7th May at 7pm in the Year 6 classroom. Parents of Year 6 pupils are invited to attend.

SHARED EDUCATION – ST MARY’S P.S. AND CUMBER CLAUDY P.S.

Year 7 pupils are finishing their very successful projects and friendships are continuing to blossom between classes. So far, Year 7 pupils have created Sun, Earth and Moon models, a mechanical hand, an extension grabber and a pneumatic pulley. This project continues to provide fantastic opportunities for staff and pupils in both schools. Year 1, Year 3 and Year 4 classes from both schools have also met for Activity Based Learning activities.

A link is available in the ‘News’ area of our school website to the ‘icreate’ area of the O’Neill’s website, where pupils can create the style of jersey they most prefer, using the school colours of navy and sky blue in their design.
