How to Use This Directory

This directory identifies key employment services offered by employment providers in Arizona. It does not, however, provide a comprehensive list of all of the services offered by each provider. The information was obtained by employment providers who responded to the survey. This guide is organized by funding source (either the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) or the Rehabilitation Services Administration - Vocational Rehabilitation (RSA-VR)), with providers listed alphabetically by county. Some of the services listed may not be funded by the Division of Developmental Disabilities or Vocational Rehabilitation. Please confirm with the provider which services are funded. This list will be updated throughout the year. Please check back with the Arizona Developmental Disabilities Planning Council (addpc.resources) to ensure you have the most up-to-date version of the Arizona Employment Provider Directory.

To contact DDD directly, click des.services/disabilities/developmental-disabilities or call 602-542-0419.

To contact RSA-VR directly, click des.rsa-contact-information, or call 1-800-563-1221.

Individuals receiving this service work with people without disabilities and earn wages at the same rate as others in the community doing the same work. This service helps ensure that the individual with a disability maintains employment and may also include job search services if these services are not available through Vocational Rehabilitation Services. These DDD services cannot be provided in Group Supported Employment (GSE). Members receiving this service must be paid by the employer. This is a time-limited service, which must be provided on a member basis, and can be used for members who are selfemployed. Provides an on-site, supervised, paid work environment in an integrated community setting. Services may be provided in groups of 2-6 workers, such as in enclaves or work crews. If certain criteria are met, the member may be paid a sub-minimum wage. Provides a controlled, protected and supervised work environment. This service is provided in a setting where the majority of members have disabilities and is supervised by paid staff. If certain criteria are met, the member may be paid a sub-minimum wage. Provides training in the meaning, value and demands of work and in the development of positive attitudes toward work. TTE offers individualized instruction, training and supports to promote skill development for integrated and competitive employment. Members also have opportunities to engage in job shadowing and job exploration. This service provides no pay to the individual with a disability. Provides individuals with disabilities with one-on-one supports needed to remain employed. These supports may include personal care services, behavioral intervention and/or "job follow along" supports. These services can be provided in any service setting as well as a stand-alone service.
