2014 NAMFS Conference

The NAMFS Annual Conference and Expo will be held September 3-5, 2014 in Orlando, FL. For more information visit. or click on the link to register for the 2014 NAMFS Conference.

The NAMFS Annual Conference and Expo is a closed conference. If you are interested in attending but are not currently a member, please contact your RVM to seek approval for sponsorship. All attendees must pay applicable registration fees directly to NAMFS to attend the conference.

NAMFS Membership Opportunities

Are you interested in becoming a NAMFS member? MCS will provide a letter of reference for any vendor in good standing. Contact your RVM to request a letter of reference. Please use the Membership Application link to learn how to apply.

ASPEN GROVE ID CODES:

Per Vendor Memo #1230, Clients 106, 183, 185, 186, 472, 685, 708, and 936 expect Aspen Grove ID Codes (ABC numbers) for all field service crews to be reported on inspections and work orders. To locate the Aspen ABC Number:

Log on to the Aspen Grove website, using the login that ordered the individual's background check. o This may be the parent company's login, or it may be the sub's company login depending on how your network is arranged.

Click on the Contacts tab, then the individual's name. Scroll to the bottom of the contact detail page for the Individual Compliance Results.

o This will list the person's ABC Number (ID Code), Current Status, and Current Expiry (Expiration) Date.

Seasonal?

Winterization season is quickly approaching; many MCS Clients will be issuing winterization work orders on September1, 2014. In order to be prepared to comply with each Client's expectations, Vendors will be assigned the 2014 Winterization Module to be completed on MCS On-Demand. Email notification will be distributed to the owner and main contact email addresses. Annual winterization re-certification will be expected.

Upon completing the winterization module, certify that all expectations are understood by submitting the module acknowledgement. The 2014 Winterization Season module will be expected to be completed Wednesday, August 27th, 2014. Vendors that are not compliant will be placed on temporary hold of work until the module and acknowledgement are completed.

Pool Securing:

Pool covers are now to be used in lieu of boarding. All pools, hot tubs, and/or spas are to be secured with a safety cover. Vendors are expected to carry pool covers in various "standard" pool sizes so that pools can be covered while completing secure work orders. If the pool shape or size does not allow for a safety cover to be used then the pool may be covered by boarding per HUD specs ? photos and comments must support covering via boarding.
