Summary of Position

This position is primarily responsible for providing accounting support to various departments as well as tracking and paying rebates, commissions and Billback Management . This position will also be back up to the Sr. Financial Analyst.

Reports To: Pricing Manager

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Extensive rebate and program research and verification

• Calculating monthly and quarterly rebates and programs including growth programs

• Calculation and management of all commissions including growth accruals.

• Coordination of all customer and broker agreements.

• Coordination with Novolex legal and the sale team on all customer agreements.

• Ownership of Customer documents and contract management

• Interact effectively with internal and external customers within appropriate communication

• Drive improvements in processes consistent with internal control requirements

• Knowledge of month end procedures, including account reconciliations

• Prepare and post general journal information and entries

• Monthly review of All POD’s and billback compliance.

• Monthly review of Customer rebates

• Responsible to work with the sale team for all renewals of programs and billbacks including broker agreements

• Assist employees, vendors, clients, or customers by answering questions related to accounts,

procedures, and services

Qualifications: Experience, Competencies and Education

• 3 or more years in an accounting role in a corporate environment.

• Associates degree from accredited university. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Professional manner and ability to handle confidential information.

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, customer oriented office environment.

• High degree of multi-tasking with some level of distractions.

• Use of office equipment requiring both mental and physical dexterity and repetitive hand and arm motion.

• Repetition of duties.

• Full time, non-exempt position: Office hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
