Trial of the Three Goddesses AssignmentThe goddess Eris threw a golden apple in between three of the most powerful Olympians; Hera, Aphrodite and Athena. They bickered over which one of them deserved the apple since on it was carved ‘Kallista’ (For the most beautiful). Eventually, Zeus came up with a solution. They should visit the prince of Troy named Paris, who was considered the best judge of beauty.During the visit, all three of the goddesses tried to bribe him. Hera, being queen of the gods, offered him rulership of all Asia. He would be an emperor of the largest kingdom imaginable. Athena, the god of wisdom and warfare offered to make him the strongest hero who ever existed.
