They are accusing God why He released them from slavery in Egypt. 2. He brought them out to die in the wilderness. 3. The manna that God gave them was worthless bread. Question: What is dominating your life; gratitude or complaining? [Allow for feedback]Read: Numbers 21:8 Question: What is the significance of this verse to the Christian world? [What does it mean?] [Allow for feedback]Answer: It means that Christ died on the cross to redeem those who believe in him from the penalty of SIN and eternal death. Question: What does it say to you about staying focussed? [Ans: Don’t look at circumstances, the past or yesterday; look unto Jesus] [Allow for feedback]Read: Psalms 105:39 - 41 Question: After reading these verses – what should the Israelites have said to God? Answer: “THANK YOU LORD”. Question: How much of this attitude of gratitude are you practicing – since the preaching of this message; and how do you feel when you do it? [Allow for feedback] Read: Acts 16:22 - 25 Question: What does this story teach us about gratitude? [Allow for feedback]Answer: Regardless of the challenges – never lose your attitude of gratitude. Question: Do you have something to thank God for right now? PracticalMany of our circumstances may be adverse and contrary to what we expect – but we have to keep an attitude of gratitude at all times. Let us pray therefore and thank God for His love, grace and mercy – irrespective of what we are experiencing in our lives. ................
