PennTecQ, Inc., located at the industrial park in Greenville, is a manufacturer of automobile component parts. The company presently has 120 employees.

They closed on a $200,000 EDA/RLF loan from the Northwest Commission in Oil City to purchase machinery to increase production capacity and produce new part for Honda Accord vehicles.

PennTecQ, Inc. was founded in 1988 as a joint venture with Werner Aluminum in Greenville. PennTecQ is a tier 2 supplier to the automotive industry. The company is 100% Japanese owned with the majority of their parts incorporated into the subassemblies for Japanese transplant automobile industry in the USA such as Honda, Nissan and Subaru. They have QS/TS certified systems in order to provide high quality parts to their customers at competitive prices.

The company’s geographic market is the Great Lakes/Midwest region. They network with Tier 1 & Tier 2 Japanese manufacturers servicing the US and Japanese domestic auto industry.

Northwest Commission works closely with Penn Northwest Development Corporation to assist companies in Mercer County to obtain the best package available for their expansion needs.
