AIRS I&R Salary Survey 2013

241 organizations completed the survey that was undertaken in May 2013. Remember that salaries fluctuate based on cost of living and geographical locations. There will always be a slight year-by-year variation based on the particular agencies that responded in any particular year.

Also, we increased the number of higher band options this year, which resulted in some higher averages. For example, last year we found that 11% of I&R Directors were earning $80,000+, so this year we increased the number of band options to provide more accurate information on how many of that 11% are actually above $90,000 or $100,000.
