2. Make sure you look at the eligibility requirements of the scholarship and that you meet them all before you begin.
3. Most scholarship applications are completed on line. There will be a few local applications that are available in the Guidance Office. Listen to announcements and check school website for updates.
4. If there is an essay component, ask an English teacher to proofread it for you.
5. Adhere to the deadlines given.
6. If requesting letters of recommendation, do not wait until the last minute.
7. Have a list of your activities, community service, and awards ready to give anyone who may write you a letter of recommendation.
8. Scholarships will be announced and posted on our school website.
