The funds will be used to rehabilitate and retrofit a 5100sq. ft. former bank to be used as a neighborhood community center, learning center, gymnasium, and staff offices for this project.

What outcomes are anticipated from completing the project and its activities?

Enhance quality of life as reflected in physical and programmatic improvements.

Offerings at project end: downtown computer center for children and adults, Warren County Community College courses, gymnasium (to include basketball court) to provide for organized and drop in physical activities, Family Self-Sufficiency Center to offer counseling to residents of the neighborhood and staff offices for this project. The Phillipsburg Center will be the nucleus for the residents and activities and programs will change and evolve as prescribed by the needs of the community.
