MOYNE BUSINESS ADAPTATION SERVICEBRIEFMoyne Shire Council is seeking to engage suitably qualified and experienced professional consultants for a range of services to provide mentoring and assistance to Moyne businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of the Business Adaptation Service is to:1. Protect – Make the best possible informed business decisions to minimise immediate risk to their business 2. Support – Streamline and simplify the process of them accessing all the immediate relief entitlements available through all three levels of government emergency funding 3. Rebuild – Preparing their business to utilise the ‘displacement or shutdown period’ to review and strengthen their business model for what is likely to be a different future Pivotal in this roll out of the business adaptation service are two primary issues: Many of the businesses and owners have not had to operate in a ‘save the company’ environment That the need to access welfare and support programs is foreign to business owners running otherwise good sound businesses. This Contract commences on 1 September 2020 for a period of 6 months.The Contract will be a schedule of rates contract, paid on an agreed hourly rate. Tenderers are to complete the 2nd CPI increase in Schedule 1These consultancy services would include, but would not be limited to the following:Financial AdviceBusiness PlanningDesigning and Creating WebsitesMarketingDigital Business strategies and adviceBusiness Collaboration Emergency Management – specifically preparing and reviewing COVID-19 plans if a business is impacted Mental Health Advice including stress managementSuccession planningInformation Technology It is acknowledged that various consultants will have specialist skills in particular areas and tenderers are encouraged to specify the types of works they are interested in managing or assisting the Council with delivery.Consultancy services will occur on an as needs basis and will be calculated in accordance with the supplied schedule of rates. An agreed timeframe for each project will be negotiated with the consultant prior to the commencement of each job.
