The Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences East Carolina University

The Department of Economics offers five undergraduate tracks in the economics major. Each track requires 33-39 semester hours of economics, but they require different cognate courses. Each track is designed to help students achieve different career goals, so choose the one that best fits your interests and goals.

The BA option combines foreign language training and any minor with the practical insights of an economics degree. It is our most globally-oriented option. You can advance a personal interest via the minor while earning a marketable degree.
