|Complete an evaluation of the school’s restorative justice flow chart comparing it to God’s Grace. | | |
|Students suggest changes for the flow chart to reflect God’s grace to demonstrate how his grace is | | |
|unconditional. | | |
|Evaluation of unit |
|The collaborative nature and use of images as stimulus worked very well in order to spark discussion around the concepts being covered. The students showed a clear understanding of sin and the affects of sin on humans. They also|
|showed a clear understanding of forgiveness but struggled to differentiate the difference between forgiveness and God’s grace. The criteria sheet was amended during class discussions giving the students the options of |
|demonstrating their understanding of ‘sin and/or grace’. This was in response to the needs of the students. A possible remedy for this is to move some of the content within the week 8 lesson forward to weeks 2-4 lessons. |
| |
|Due to changes is timelines for testing the activities in week 10 were not completed as part of this unit. |
