Water Devices

The Fountains of Bellagio have four types of water emitting devices: the oarsmen, the mini-shooter, the super-shooter and the extreme-shooter. Each device can be controlled individually or as a group. There are a total of 1,214 water-emitting devices throughout the Fountains.

• Oarsmen spray water in a movable stream, 77 feet high. There are a total of 208 oarsmen, each individually programmable. This is the only device able to change the direction of the water and flows at up to 140 gallons per minute.

• Mini-shooters, super-shooters and extreme-shooters shoot the water straight up to a height of 100 feet, 240 feet and 460 feet respectively. The mini-shooters, super-shooters and extreme-shooters can fire only for a maximum of seven to eight-30ths of a second. There are a total of 798 mini-shooters, 192 super-shooters and 16 extreme-shooters.

Audio

• The music of The Fountains is fed through 183 speakers located around the Lake’s perimeter and 30 additional speakers solely for the Bell Tower bells for a total of 213 speakers. There are speakers located at every viewing point around the lake.

• It would take two major concert venues to equal the speaker output at The Fountains of Bellagio.

Lighting

• There are a total of 4,792 individual lights on the support structure and Oarsmen. All lights are water resistant to approximately 15 feet. Each Oarsman also has four lights.

• Each 575-watt bulb puts out 12,360 Lumens each. Multiply that by 4,792, and you end up with 59,229,120 Lumens of power.
